Excellent CD... Thoroughly enjoyed it... Highly Recommended...

I really don't know what to expect when I listen to a Blues Artists for the first time, especially a Debut Album, but I hope now and then to find a bit of a treasure, as some Debut Albums can surely be, and it looks like I may have found that with Retro Deluxe's "Baby It's Hot!".

"Baby It's Hot!", which by the way is all originals, a bit of a rarity for a Debut Album, is really second to none. These guys sound like they have been around forever and sound good enough that you hope they are.

"Baby It's Hot!" is a very fine blend of Rockin Blues, mixed in with a little old fashioned blues, funky blues, swing and soul. I particularly like the opening to track 9, She Can't Wait Anymore, with it's dynamic mix of violin, which I love in all kinds of music.

Retro Deluxe's "Baby It's Hot!", could not have been a better pick for this Albums title, as it certainly decribes it to a tee. It is also, for a Live Album, perhaps the most Masterfully Done I have perhaps ever heard, Kudo's to the Soundman on this one.

"Baby It's Hot!" was a pleasure and a half to listen to and I am anxiously awaiting Retro Deluxe's follow-up. With music like this these guys are going to the top in a hurry, believe you me...
