"Floyd Lee and Joel Poluck are some of the toughest in the record business today. The records they have made in this
millennium are amongst the most creative. Lee's vocals seem to come straight from hell and where Poluck gets his inspiration for their songs is totally incomprehensible to me. He may have contacts that even go beyond the ones Robert Johnson got connected to down at that crossroad so many years ago."

...This IS the blues. REAL artists making REAL music! Aspiring musicians take note...
(Billy K)
...Raw and punk blues by a genuine real example of the most daring electrifying avant-garde blues but at the same time deeply rooted into old Mississippi blues tradition.
La Hora Blues (Spain)
..."Joel Poluck's guitar work sounds like a hell-bound soul writhing and wailing in
torment." (Living Blues Magazine)
...Really excellent and unique blend of blues and hard rock. (Dorothy A Falcone)
...From the gritty and raw slide guitar on tracks like "Empty Well" & "Lunar Landing" to the acoustic simplicity on the soliloquy "Nella" this is a well rounded gem.

...Bought this for Empty Well and love the whole CD. (Cynthia)
...Floyd Lee is a great Bluesmen and the CD is great. (Meyer-Dengel)
...Really good nasty sound with some modern touches with the sampling on Lunar Landing. For some reason, it reminds me of the song 4th of July off of the Sound Garden album.

...To all non-believers, if you never had the blues your a liar! We've all had them, and here they are at their FINEST! If it wasn't for blues, there would be no Rock 'n Roll. The Floyd Lee Band ROCKS your blues.

...THIS ALBUM IS AWESOME! Joel is standing behind us telling us not to mess up on our comments. But don't worry Joel, no matter what anyone says about this album, good or bad, we know where the music came from, straight from the heart. It's awesome to know such a talented man, great person and over all good friend. Great job Joel!! And as for Floyd, for never having met him, the great things Joel has shared with us, we understand where his passion for music comes from. We love all 4 albums, but Doctors, Devils and Drugs, is by far the best album.... so far!

...A friend told me about Empty Well. I assumed it was an old blues tune, but couldn't find it anywhere but cd baby. I played it from cd baby site and knew I had to have it. The whole disc is great.. highly recommended for any fan of rock or blues.
